Established in 2023, Nova Complex (“Nova”) is built on a foundation of deep industry expertise and a clear mission: to catalyse the development of next-generation digital infrastructure across Finland and beyond. We are committed to accelerating the energy transition by delivering high-value, sustainable solutions that meet the evolving needs of global hyperscale customers.
As a full-stack, vertically integrated platform, Nova combines local insight with vast experience in designing tailored infrastructure that optimizes both performance and efficiency. We are focused on markets with a strong growth trajectory, ensuring that our projects contribute positively to the local economy and the future of digital connectivity. At Nova, we don’t just manage infrastructure; we build the backbone of a sustainable digital future.
About the Role
We are looking for a Project Scheduling Engineer to lead the planning and oversight of our data center construction, fixed-term position (12–18 months). In this role, your focus is on the governance and technical integrity of the project timeline.
This is a position for a professional who understands that a master schedule is more than just a chart—it’s a living map of the project’s success. You will be responsible for ensuring that progress is transparent, risks are forecasted early, and the project stays aligned with our strategic milestones.
What You’ll Be Doing With Us
Finding the Ground Truth: You’ll spend time on-site to verify that what’s being reported on paper is actually happening in the field (Civil, Structural, and MEP).
Protecting the Timeline: You’ll analyse the contractor’s master schedule to spot logic gaps or potential bottlenecks before they become real problems.
Providing Insight: When site variations occur, you’ll help us understand the real impact on our "Ready for Service" (RFS) dates.
Bridging the Gap: You’ll act as a professional link between the Nova team and the contractor’s planners, ensuring absolute transparency in both Finnish and English.
Keeping Us Informed: You’ll create clear, data-driven progress updates (S-curves, milestone trackers) that help our leadership team make informed decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
Project Experience: You’ve spent at least 5 years in project controls or scheduling, ideally on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects. Experience in Data Centers is a significant advantage.
An Engineering Mindset: You have a degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical). We believe you need to understand how a building is put together to know if the schedule is realistic.
The "Scheduling" Toolbelt: You are highly proficient with professional scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project). You know how to stress-test a schedule, not just read one.
Language Skills: Since you'll be coordinating with local Finnish partners and reporting to an international team, you’ll need to be fluent in both Finnish and English.
The "Trust but Verify" Approach: You are naturally curious, detail-oriented, and you prefer to see things for yourself.
Why Join Nova Complex?
Local Impact: Play a pivotal role in a flagship project that is shaping Finland’s digital landscape.
Professional Culture: Join a team that values technical precision, open communication, and long-term sustainability.
Technical Ownership: Work in an owner-side environment where your technical foresight directly influences the project's success.
